Great story, Lyndsey! When it's right, it's right. I love the "little flip" in your stomach telling you this was the one!

Yes, it's dried ginger.

Yes! The whole concept of degrading plastic into smaller bits of plastic is just weird. Do we want plastic molecules in our garden bed next spring?

Great post, btw. A good reminder to all of us, whether we're 25 or 65!

It's because it's a png file, Chelsey. If you convert it to a jpeg, I bet that missing tooth will appear without any dental help!

I haven't got any figures. Definitely not low-cal. I'd hazard a guess that 1/2 cup is about 200 calories because I'm generous on the oil and almonds I add. But I don't know the vitamin/mineral info.

I like the last idea, Jayme! And while we're at it, how about an interstate trail system just for bikes?

Cool! I left my loaf alone over the weekend and my husband ate it all - said it made awesome toast!

I've also had luck with SheBeest, as well as Terry (my favorite), and Performance Bike shorts. Chafing is often a saddle issue, though. Be sure your saddle has some sort of dip in the middle, so there's minimal pressure on the soft tissue and most of the weight is carried on those sit-bones. Play with the cant of the saddle (nose up, nose down) - sometimes it can be a tiny change in tilt that suddenly makes you more comfortable. Finally, consider using chamois cream to reduce chafing. We're all built differently down there, so keep trying out new arrangements. Don't give up hope!
