We are a consumer driven economy, I agree. This includes services. Most of our market sells luxeries. My husband intalls carpet. The market is dead because carpet (or new floors in general) is a luxury. People are doing without because they can't afford anything extra. Which means our family, in return, can't make a living very well. The industries who make carpet that have accidental flaws in it will find any exuse to blame the problem on the installer so they don't have to honor their warranty. They can't afford it. It's amazing how money can effect people's honor and behavior. I don't have any idea's on how to fix this economic crises- I just hope that people don't resort to dishonesty to save a couple pennies.
