Yeah, I was very worried for Davos when I saw him charging in after claiming he wasn't great at fighting.

In a similar vein, one of the best compliments I received was from my sister in a "who would play you in your biopic". She told me that while we didn't have much else in common, the only person who she thought could accurately capture how very little I care about other people's opinions of me was Lena Dunham. I have been working on not giving a shit about what other people think of me for years and it was really nice that other people have noticed my progress!

On a separate occasion, she told me that Christina Hendricks as Joan Harris reminds her of me in terms of dressing to accentuate curves. My sister is fantastic at compliments.

It was way too much fun to google the names for all of the educational computer games of the 90s (the only ones I was allowed to play). I loved Supersolvers Treasure Mountain, Kid Pix, Jumpstart Typing, Carmen Sandiego, and Dr. Brain. My absolute favorite was Cluefinders.

Up until about 5 years ago, my parents had a terrible old computer in the basement that still ran windows 98. My sisters and I could sometimes get Zoombinis or Cluefinders to load and it was excellent.

Thank you for introducing me to the concept of cremation diamonds. I was leaning toward the Bios Urn that you use to plant a tree (I think it would be hilarious to use my ashes to grow an ash tree), but now I am debating with myself. Maybe I could do both?

My favorite cardigan that I found at Marshall's was a plain August Silk one. As it turns out, it's super easy to find them at places like Macy's too! I don't button them up either.

While Marshall's hasn't expanded online yet, TJ Maxx has (and you can return stuff to stores in person). This was exciting for my cardigan collection, but not fantastic for my budget.

Hi toasties, I am in need of your suggestions! At the end of the month, there will be a period of two weeks where I have literally no things to do other than wait for news that will either be okay or life-changing and terrible. I need activities that will distract me from constant worrying/anxiety, preferably activities so engaging that they do not leave my brain any freedom to think (bonus if they make me exhausted enough that I could actually sleep).

My usual favorite time-consuming activities are out: reading is too thought-provoking and hiking allows way too much time for my brain to obsess over the outcome. Any ideas? So far, all I have planned is marathoning Game of Thrones, organizing iTunes, attempting some intense workout videos, baking something super complicated (suggestions welcome), and finding a way to blast music in the shower (too much thinking happens in the shower). I need two full weeks though...

“Are you cheerfully enduring this interaction, or a willing participant? I can’t distinguish good humor from genuine interest. Give me a sign.”

Yes, please. There needs to be some sort of hand signal.
