Where do you live? The three WalMarts here have super narrow aisles and you can't squeeze two carts side by side in most of them! :)

I would probably decorate my lantern with a note to my angel son. I've never seen a lantern fest in person. Must be really cool.

Yep, we get them tested at least yearly, even though my husband and I don't wear glasses. I know that vision problems can seem like learning disorders and our insurance pays for an annual visit.

Most of our neighbors are "get to know yous" except one neighbor who is more like "f* you for being happy" which I don't think is one that you describe. She only seems to have a complaint when the children are the happiest, but not bothering her. Her one complaint was that the babies moved her rocks, since she has no garden. She just has rocks outside.

That's a great way for a military spouse to live for themselves. They already give so much being a wife for a soldier. Whatever keeps them happy, keeps our military going.
