Sugar snap peas are best eaten raw and with no accompaniment.

So declares the memory of 6 year old smallpistachio, whose grandmother gave her sugar snap peas to plant. We had those in our garden (the garden was entirely raspberries and peas, not fancy) for ten years.

Even Taller-But-Younger Pistachio, who haaaaaaaaaaaates peas, would eat sugar snap peas from our garden.
