I don't think you are understanding what rrmorrison is saying and the fact that treaties even exist lends merit to his/her point. Give me an example of any other time in history when treaties and similiar treatment were given to the peoples of a conquered territory/nation. While Stalin rolled across Europe do you think he had his political advisors drawing up treaties to implement with the 'native peoples'?? Or when Hussien rolled over the border into Kuwait in the early 90's do you think he had the intention of giving land back and setting up treaties? The fact the you have to resort to name calling shows that you don't have the facts or the intellect to back up what you are saying. The 'native people' of this land have been treated far better than those of any other I can come up with. You???
How sad, my prayers go out to the family of this clearly troubled individual and also to the persons on board the train who most likely will never fully recover from the trauma of this horrible tragedy! @taxpro, hopefully your daughter and her friends don't bear too much burden of guilt as there is likely nothing they could have done to prevent this.

When the headline reads "Homeowner: Extreme Pruning......." and then states that the tree was in front of a "rental home" that is what I am basing my comment on. For your statement to be accurate it would read "Tennant: Extreme Pruning......." and in front of "rented home" Therein lies the difference Pinkster! :-)

The owner is saying something about it! If you had sense enough to understand the difference between RENTAL home and RENTED home then you might have something worth reading, instead you get a thumbs down.
To everyone questioning the parents gun storage abilities...where in the article does it say that the gun even came from the home??? How do we know it was not brought in by the 16 yr old? He could have gotten it from a friend or stolen it...don't be so quick to blame the parents.
