Any method to downgrade to an earlier iOS version if no SHSHs are saved? (like 4.1?)

Just to make sure - There is absolutely no way, tethered or not, to jailbreak an iPad 2 on iOS 6.0, right?

Success:
1. I restored to 5.0.1 with the new RedSn0w - on a Mac. It didn't work on a PC!
2. I upgraded the baseband to iPad (6.15) with the new RedSn0w
3. I downgraded to 5.13 with the RedSn0w that appears on the "BaseBand Freedom" blog post.
4. The iPhone went through all the process smoothly then it got stuck on the apple when booting after the 5.13 BB flash. After ~45 minutes of apple screen I hard resetted the phone (power+home buttons).
5. iPhone is on 5.0.1 with 5.13 BB!

I tried updating the BB to iPad and then downgrading. It doesn't seem to work.
My phone is not at risk so I tried it.

Should I restore to 5.0.1 using the new RedSn0w and then upgrade BB to iPad and then downgrade to unlockable BB?
Will 5.0.1 work with 5.16 BB (iOS 6.0)?

Hello Dev Team followers and mods,

I have a iPhone 3Gs with NEW BOOTROM after an official restore of iOS 6.0 (including baseband).
I need to unlock this iPhone (and jailbreak as well) I don't know the original carrier.

I have blobs saved for 5.0.1. What are my best TWO options to proceed?
