Impossible, I say! Islam is a religion of peace. IF you don't agree, then perhaps you are an enemy of Islam. Even reporting this story is a hate crime.I think CAIR will confirm that this is a pack of lies. It is well known that the Hare Krisna are provocative and very violent. Besides there are no baseball bats in Copenhagen because they don't play baseball. QED.

Let us hope that this bit of news is enough to wake up and re-energize the TEA party movement. TEA partiers, in contrast to the squat-to-pee boy-men who occupy the tents, work, pay taxes and vote, and it is still possible to use the vote to remove the leftist thugs from the City council here and in the other cities that have pandered to this squalid assembly.

Really. You actually trotted out the old "they wash our cars, they build our houses, they pick our vegetables." What is that supposed to imply? That they do it free of charge? That they are angels sent here to do the jobs americans ...blah blah blah? What a relief, but for unregulated illegal immigration, I'd have to spend my life in a canefield. Idiot.

Here's a deal: Before you open wide the gates to the poorest of the poor (all the while keeping it very difficult for immigrants with real intellectual capital to enter through legal channels), either eliminate affirmative action and disparate impact analysis altogether, or impose a test taking into account the ancestry of the beneficiary (I'd say the test should be a minimum of two direct ancestors on this side of the border, suffering at the hands of evil white people, at least 50 years ago (peg it to the civil rights act, and that period extends as time goes on)). If you can't prove that your dead ancestors in the dimly remembered past suffered at the hands of similarly dead oppressors, here, in this country, then you can't dip into the trough of civilizational guilt and blood libel, whether it be preferential treatment at work, or in university admissions, or disparate impact lawsuits, or access to any of the other products of the racial grievance industry.

But remember, just as civilizational guilt is at best a veneer of piety that's a mile wide and a micron deep, so is civilizational gratitude. Your impulse to assuage whatever racist guilt you may have by swamping my culture with outsiders will not pay off in terms of votes for your candidates nor support for any of the values you hold dear. But hey, at least you feel good about yourself. And you're doing it on my dime.

or, for that matter, the entertainment industry and the education industry, both of which are near and dear to the hearts of leftists everywhere

We have a real-life example of the archetype libertarian sophomore who alienates everyone in the dorms by Christmas. Bright, but intellectually a one-trick pony and a bit of a bore.

And yet so many of the leftists in congress posture about evil corrupt businessmen. I think it's time for the tea party movement to wake up again, and move its focus from "taxed enough already" to the question of "who works for whom." The proper role of these little people is essentially custodial; i.e., keep the lights on, repel foreign invasion and clean up the trash. We really don't need them sitting down there all year coming up with grand ideas, social legislation and pitting group against group for their own gain. They are servants, not lords, and certainly not philosopher kings, and we need to return them to their proper subservient roles, rather than continuing to allow them to ponce about enriching themselves and spending my money like some third-rate aristocracy.

Turn micromanagement back onto the micromanagers. They should also be subject to all wage and hour, affirmative action, green energy and diversity training rules.

Indeed. If the court upholds this mockery, I will not rest until I see that no-talent beanpole and his bloated harridan wife sitting in a dimly-lit clinica familiar, swatting away flies waiting to be told by the midwife-PA "all in all you've had a good life and there's nothing more that can be done for your curable prostate problem. Have an aspirin, go home and wait to die. We have well baby checkups to take care of."

The idea that SCE and PG&E would waste half a billion dollars trying to subsidize those stupid soviet-style light bulbs is beyond idiotic. And don't forget the similarly giant waste of money on those ridiculous "smart" meters and the endless media buys just to hector the public about cutting back use. Is the price per kilowatt so subsidized by tax dollars that the relation between price and demand is distorted thereby justifying commands to cut use? All the while, our moral betters in the government and NGO classes are trying to shove electric vehicles down our collective throats. Query - were we to wholesale adopt electric klown kars as our new mode of transportation, where is all that additional generating infrastructure going to come from? It's not as if the utilities out here have been investing their dollars on new generation facilities.

It's for the "children" --- ages 15 through 35???
And where does it say in the Constitution that I can break into your house, decide it's more comfortable than going back to my house, eat your food, draw on your accounts, make you pay to educate my children and then have your moral betters in Washington tell you that it's really your fault and that you should welcome me with open arms because of all the diversity I bring to your poor benighted monocultural household?
