Sounds like an opening fit for the new Americorps press media infusion.

The first soccer clubs in America are the first outside England, and predate those of even Scotland and Ireland.

I used to play soccer every other weekend with some of the most well known players from the 2005 National Champion University of Texas football team in the off-season. Not only did they respect the sport more after having been coached in the basics and played a few pick-up games, they used to call us to get us to go play.

So unless you're an Aggie or non-UT Texan and will still call players who won the National Championship and have kicked every other school's tail for the better part of a decade and beyond "men with the obsession of grabbing other men and playing with little balls", take comfort in actual athletes (now professional athletes) respecting that other athlete's sports are indeed respectable and rewarding. It's the same reason at any given sporting event, many professional athletes from other sports can be seen participating as fans or spectators in the crowd or on the sidelines.

Agreed. There was nothing wrong with the ball from the '78 through '98 WCs. Just FIFA bowing to pressure, and Adidas taking advantage of the freedom in their WC ball provider contract to market their company and sell more equipment.

Adidas does the same thing every World Cup met with the same player response every World Cup. Strikers usually love them, goalkeepers and defenders hate them.

The ball attempts to accomplish two things. Be a stage and showcase for Adidas' 4 years of research and design since the last WC, and create higher scoring games for dopey folks who will watch a 9 inning/1 run baseball game, or a 3 period/1 goal hockey game, or 3 hours of the same tennis match, or 5 hours of perhaps the most spectator unfriendly game golf...and still complain soccer is boring and not high scoring enough.

(Just remember...soccer used to be the main sport for quite some time in America, before the douche bags at Ivy League colleges adopted the American sports we know of today because they thought soccer was for the lower class, peasants, and immigrant folk. You know, the same progressives that have defecated on our Constitution and attempted to rewrite American history in their likeness for the past 100 years.)

Let us not forget the real act of sedition Barry committed before taking office when he unilaterally visited Iraq to negotiate when US military would transition power, as still only a Senator undermining the Bush Administration on a matter of national security during wartime.

It's a FEDERAL building isn't it? The Senator is a FEDERAL employee, no? My tax dollars do pay her salary, do they not? The bribe she took of $300 million for LA will be paid by my tax dollars, right?

You may have more of a leg to stand on had progressives not put forth the 17th Amendment. BUT, that still wouldn't change all that pesky FEDERAL stuff involved.

/hangs head in shame

The Chinese and Russians are proudly gallivanting the fact that they intend to be the first on scene for the sole purpose of reaping the benefits of He3...meanwhile we take 5 steps backwards on our space program by Barry's heavy hand.

If the green fascists had any true intention of saving the planet from ourselves, He3 would be their Holy Grail. But Barry and crew cannot walk away from it fast enough. They've lamented Bush from the rooftops when he announced the US' intentions to make it back to the moon ASAP.

Progressives over progress, eh Obama?

Do all the over-zealous troll(s) here count as Obama jobs saved or created?

As an employer, isn't it legal to record what your employees are up to?

Aren't we all the great and powerful Senator's employer?
