I support the vision of the project but have two problems that keep me from joining. First is principle 2. That's just not how I live my life and to subscribe to it as a principle would be hypocritical. Also, the gods that have been conscripted by most groups are intrusive and intolerant gods. I don't think it is the place of government to tell me what to believe, yet many groups invoke a god for just that reason. It is my faith that should guide my decisions, not the faith of the majority, or those in power or those that lust for power.
My second reason is that the project seems to be as much about marketing for Mr. Beck as it is about anything else. While I enjoy Mr. Beck and appreciate his opinions, I'm not sure how the project accomplishes anything other than promoting MR. Beck.
