I think we've got plenty of good leaders. It's that "getting them in office" thing that's the hard part. I think these tea parties are a step in the right direction. We've got to get people thinking about principles, not just "hey, which of these guys is going to give me the most free stuff?..."

Seriously though - isn't that what we're all about? Letting the people truly decide? I see your point, but isn't that the underlying problem here - one group of people thinking that YOU are uninformed and not able to make wise decisions?

Would the founders have considered something like this if they had the technology available to them back then?

Do we really even need senators or congressman any more? Can't we just all vote on important stuff online now? At least on these MASSIVE era changing decisions?
