We won't get folks interested and intrigued if we are carrying signs bashing members of the Political Party that they may belong to. We'll be out there complaining about no more bailouts, stop spending, we want our country back, Taxed Enough Already, You're new Capitalism is Facism, obey the Constitution, stop punishing success, etc. No one can tell you not to carry a sign of your choice. We're asking that you follow the original purpose of the Tea Parties on the 15th. I think the time for political signs will come, like on the march to Washington, D.C., or our State Capitols, or other venues planned for political purposes.
You do what you think is right and we'll all do what we think is right. We have free choice in this country - at least for now.

I certainly can't find any one of the 12 Values that this petty bickering between you and blbjaz relates too. Glenn did not DEMAND that you NOT carry a political sign. He correctly stated that these Tea Parties have nothing to do with political parties. They are being held to let the government know, that We The People are disgusted with the utter lack of respect the Administration and the Legislative Branch show for our Constitution, and the absolute void of caring about what We The People think or want. The 912 Project and the Tea Parties are, indeed, a movement to attract, educate and bring new people into our midst. We need to do this with issues others can agree on. We want those, who don't know about us, to realize - just like we did -
that they are not alone.

Of course they will fire the missile. They can't back down now, or they'll lose face all over the world!
Obama fails, no matter what he does! If he has the missile shot down - we're in another war. If he does nothing except issue his "stern warning" - he's cowardly and hasn't done enough. Let's be honest - he can't win!
Here's a question to ponder: Where is it written that the USA has the right to tell the N. Koreans they cannot test a missile? If the majority of countries stood with us and were speaking out on this also - GREAT! But we are not the rulers of the earth. We test missiles when and where we choose, why can't they? God knows I don't want them to - I'm just askin'.

Please tell me where I'm wrong here: In my mind, politicians CAN'T be elected members of our governing bodies in Washington! Every piece of legislation they see or hear, is judged on the basis of the effect it will have on their re- election. They can't think beyond the ends of their noses. They shell out OUR money to build Interstate Highways, Bridges, Interstate Water Systems, Electric Grids, Pipelines, Railways, etc., and then they just forget about them until they are in rotten shape and near ruin. Why? Because, to go home to their State/District and tell their constituents that they got $1.5 million from the government, to maintain Interstate 85, or $2 million to clean up the Missouri River, is NOT going to thrill them one little bit. But if they can go home and tell their people that they got $500,000 for the Pasadena Playhouse, $200,000 for renovation of the watch museum in Santa Clara, $400,000 for beach clean up, $100,000 for street repair in Los Angeles and $500,000 for the San Diego Zoo - just think how happy their state voters would be.

That's so-o-o rich!!! He'd be much better at conning money out us!

"Wildtree" already has a PERMIT to march on D.C.. I agree the date should be on a day when Congress is in session.
Does the permit have a date on it , and if so, can it be changed? What puzzles me, is all the furor about action, action, action - and the almost total lack of response to this idea?. Where's the "Hoorah"?, the "Let's do it"?, the "I'm ready - start the planning"? Is all this posting just a bunch of hot air and finger excercise, or do you really want to "DO" something?
