True story - my mum recently selected a whippet as her dog by googling 'dogs that are most like cats'. A+ breed selecting technique, would obtain cat/dog again.

I was recruiting at a careers fair for my own (non-secret) department a few years ago and was also disappointed to see a stall for the Australian Secret Intelligence Service.

To be fair, I had a chat with the girl manning the stall and she did say that this was pretty much the only time she was ever allowed to say who she worked for so...

The guy that sits next to me at work (25) says that A LOT but he also has a beard, a fixie and really strong opinions about coffee, so I think he's just a hipster.

The last guy I went on a date with (30) also constantly peppered the conversation with 'hashtag nailed it!'. There wasn't a second date, but for unrelated reasons.

Whereas I've never seen Arrested Development (I know) so when I saw this I was like 'ughhhh, why are we squeeing about that annoying manchild from Juno?'

Number 17 stopped me dead in my tracks as the perfect encapsulation of my imaginary girlfriend goals.

(Well, not completely imaginary because I do know a single queer girl who dresses like that with that exact hair cut - seriously I had to look twice to check it wasn't actually her - and I am desperately in lust with her and we definitely have chemistry but I am Intimidated and Too In Awe Of Her Awesome to actually make a move on her. So the person is real, but the girlfriend bit is imaginary. Woe.)

My house sold too! And with it my final tie to the never-ending relationship of blech! Settlement isn't for another couple of weeks but I still I booked myself a long weekend by the beach to celebrate/drink cocktails/go swimming/try to pick up at the swim up bar.

I always loved John Rogers' (co-creator of Leverage) response to questions about fanfiction (paraphrased): 'you're telling me that in today's media saturated landscape, with more content than you could ever read or watch, our silly pulp show makes you want to take time out of your day to create more? Thank you, go nuts, just don't send anything to me because legal problems.'

Yeah, the musical choices make it seem like they were playing it as a comedic scene? Like 'lol lol look at this hilarious culture clash lol'.

I'm really annoyed that I'm still attracted to Sex Kilt.

The Oz cast shows up everywhere and I love it.

Also, I always think Lee Tergesen is bigger than he is but that's mainly because I'm forever mixing him up with the pictures I've seen of Alexander Skarsgård in True Blood.

I am really late to this thread, but when I first moved into my new place after breaking up with my boyfriend of 11 years, I binged on the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

That was 13 months ago and I still have 'Unbreakable MyName MiddleName' scrawled on my fridge. I think I wrote it because I it was the first thing that popped into my head when I was testing a whiteboard marker, but seeing it actually helped a lot so it's still there.
