Hi LL!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Well we are deluged with snow and more snow, plus below zero temps:<( and that is not windchill temps-we are talking -10-15 degrees with windchills of -25 or lower:<(
We are actually below on our average snow levels-BooHoo! I will be glad when winter is over. But that said I am prepared now for living in the Idaho Rockies! and ready too!
I agree with what you are saying about the urban looks and I wish for some more rustic tones. I faith in the decorators and I know all will turn out great! I am happy so far with how the voting is going-because it pretty much matches my votes,LOL! Hope all is well with you and are surviving the winter?:>) Take care LL!

Sorry to hear of the break ins and glad to hear all are OK. Yes, very scary how close to home all this crime is coming. I live in Central NY and we have at least one break in with 2 miles of our home. In years past this was not the case. Even more scary when you are in the home at the time of the break ins-does not seem to stop them? I still rely on good Ole dog power:>) Alarms are good but give me a good ole dog. I have talked with the police where I live at the crime conferences and generally people that have dogs are not broken into. The criminals move to an easier target. Sort of like locking your car door-they will break into the unlocked cars first. Be safe and watchful. Thanks for your updates with using the cam. I do not have very good luck viewing. I can see some things but is very difficult to navigate-so I rely on your and others sightings and updates:>)

I am way behind this year!:<(
I just voted for this round and I viewed what is winning. I am in line with what has so far been chosen. I really think from the voting that most of us are pretty traditional and want to keep in line with the woodsy feel of this beautiful area and take in the lake as much as possible. I know I do not mind some modern designs/touches and decorating but I love the feel of nature and modern things can be done in line with that. I am glad to see the solid background for the kitchen-I think subway tiles have been over done and I think if they keep similar to the example the solid would look more like the area of this home? I am also glad the stone is winning for the fireplaces-that is so appropriate to this area. Just what is in order for a big fire to sit and view the lake, with my glass of brandy:>) This is going to be another beauty! Can't wait:>) :po.0

Thanks so much! I should have know that DB would post that-I should have read through. Those were some impressive pics-but looks better than some places up the coast. I will assume all is well at the Dream Home:>)
Thanks

Sorry not sure what you are saying? Is there a link to something about the storm? I checked?

I have been entering everyday for this gem of a home and my dream home. With the terrible storms that have hit recently to the Northeast coast I have been wondering how the Dream Home weathered the storms and sea surges??? I hope all is well? This storm certainly would be a good test of the home.

The heat in the floor idea-sounds delightful! I am for an enclosed shower-level with the rest of the floor for easy handicap access-also big enough for a wheelchair. I live in a high mineral level in the water area and they have such good products now on the market that cleaning glass is really not an issue if you keep up on it and do not let it go to build up. Same with anything you clean. Never let dirt, etc. build up-always easier to tackle it right away. The heat in the floor will be so very welcome for those cold Idaho winters:>)
