Answer: Legitimate question. Like anything, especially free services, it's a leap of faith. There would be a big stink if companies like MailChimp did so. https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
Read Section "E. Member Distribution Lists"
"We do not, under any circumstances, sell your Distribution Lists. If someone on your Distribution List complains or contacts us, we might then contact that person."
Have a great week.

You can install an "unlimited" number of Apache or Windows configurations. I guess the limit is server size (50GB if I remember correctly.)
The number of MySQL databases is unlimited. So you could host many WordPress (or Joomla or Drupal) websites for that flat monthly fee.
NOTE: They will charge a fee for each Windows SQL database you install.
Something I recently discovered... If you need to install an SSL certificate, they charge an additional $20/month. Plus you'll still need to purchase the SSL from a certificate issuing company too.
Hope this was helpful. Good luck.

BTW, when I say "clueless", it's not to disparage. They simply don't know any better because they've heard so many conflicting bits of information that it becomes overwhelming to focus and prioritize.
