I love it!!! It's a great idea. However I don't think the leaders of our new Nanny state will think too kindly of this type of policy.

Jimmy Carter's not an anti-semite... He was a terrible, terrible president, but that's the worst you can say about him. Nice guy, who has done alot for charity, but a terrible president.

If OUR neighbor was doing that, yes we'd take some sort of action, but that would be our problem. Can we carve off and ship San Fran to N Korea? I really like that idea actually.

Iran is Israel's neighbor. Iran is trying to arm themselves because of Israel's ongoing misadventures with palestinian terrorists , and anyone else who looks at them wrong. Israel is rightly justified to go after palestinian terrorists, however, pissing off the palestinians who aren't terrorists by launching WP Artillery rounds into city centers, and other innapropriate things that you'd never see the US military do, might just make more terrorists. If you're a Jarhead, you know EXACTLY what I mean...

So it's Israel's problem... not ours.

I worked for the government too... Iran is managable. Syria is a paper tiger. It would not be desirable for Iran to become nuclear, and we should try to prevent that diplomatically if possible. However, the situation will still be manageable with a nuclear Iran... You have to understand how Iran thinks (Go ask an Iranian analyst). They're not going to use it. It serves them better as a deterrent. They view (Iranians) Israel as an agressor in the region, and want to have something to prevent Israel from coming to attack them. Israel is by far, militarily superior to Iran. I SAY AGAIN: LET'S NOT START WORLD WAR III HERE! Everybody stand back, relax, think.

We don't need Israel. They don't really need us, but we sure help them alot. We could help the Israelis and ourselves by being tougher on Israel making sure they straighten up and fly right. I've got no love for Iran, but the situation is still managable, and best dealt with diplomatically, even if they did build a nuke, we can still manage the situation. Let's not start WWIII here... not a good plan.
