Now who are the jack booted thugs!
Just found this gem in the letters to the editor section of the Fosters Daily today.
Letters to the editor Part I - July 30, 2009

Hired goons not appreciated

To the editor: Reports of recent polls tell us that a large majority of Americans oppose Obamacare, preferring a revised health-care system that is not run by the federal government. Then I ask, just who are these people who show up at rallies to voice support for Obamacare?

I think I found the answer last week.

On July 17, Americans all across the nation gathered at over 250 local Congressional offices to peacefully voice their objections to the Democrats' health-care bill. I attended one such event with 40 other taxpayers, outside the offices of Rep. Carol Shea-Porter and Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in Dover.

We were immediately obstructed by a bunch of guys wearing purple SEIU (Service Employees International Union) T-shirts. They shouted and harassed us for the hour, refused to speak with us, and as soon as we left, they dispersed.

The next day at the Exeter Independence Festival, I noticed a familiar face delivering materials to Carol Shea-Porter's tent — one of the purple-shirt guys from the day before. His car had a Massachusetts license plate. Later, I had a chance to speak with him. Yes, he recognized me. I learned that he is from Trinidad, he is not a citizen, and that he is paid to do this "volunteer" work.

Similar bands of SEIU "volunteers" were present at every New Hampshire rally location on July 17.

I wonder whose money is actually paying for these "volunteers?" And isn't it a sad state of affairs that those who are supposed to represent us in serious issues such as our health and welfare — life and death decisions — appear to be associated with such an operation?

It was a shocking lesson.

With the EPA with holding a report that there is no Global Warming caused by humans we have to make sure these 8 Rep's never get re-elected.

The eight Republican Cap and Traitors who put the bill over the top and allowed eight so-called conservative Democrats political cover to vote against:

Mary Bono Mack (Calif.)
Michael Castle (Del.)
Mark Kirk (Ill.)
Leonard Lance (N.J.)
Frank LoBiondo (N.J.)
John McHugh (N.Y.)
Dave Reichert (Wash.)
Chris Smith (N.J.)

Vote the idiots out!

Stimulus / Reelection package?
Since Congress passed President Barack Obama’s $787 billion economic stimulus bill in February, administration officials have traveled to at least 66 events across the country to tout the massive spending program or hand out stimulus cash to grateful local officials.

But a POLITICO examination of the travel reveals a distinctly political trend line: Top officials have hosted events predominantly in states that Obama won in 2008.

What’s more, the examination revealed that Obama officials all but avoided Southern states that Obama lost.

It is not unusual for a presidential administration to find ways to reward its supporters through federal largesse, particularly in this case, when the goal of the stimulus program is push money out the door to states and localities that can spend it quickly to jump-start the economy. The Bush administration was criticized in 2004 for sending Cabinet officials on trips that critics said doubled as campaigning for the president’s reelection bid.

But the numbers tell the tale: 52 of the 66 events were in states that backed Obama. And taken together, the itineraries amount to a veritable map of Obama’s election-night victories — big-money states like California and New York, swing states like Ohio and Colorado that Obama turned blue and other solidly Democratic states Obama kept in his column.

Transparency, I don't think so
WND Headline "BORN IN THE USA?
White House 'dialogue' site scrubbed of eligibility posts
Many Obama birth certificate queries yanked from 'transparency' debate"

Now he admits he grew up a Muslim and when to school as a Muslim. If it walks like a duck, sound like a duck, it is a duck!

This says it all!
AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America ' crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.
You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Were is the real birth certificate?
Does anybody care. Now there are two.

A Virginia congressman, very quietly, has signed onto a measure in Congress that would require presidential candidates to verify their eligibility to hold the highest elected office in the United States.

WND earlier reported when freshman Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., filed H.R. 1503, an amendment to the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.

According to the Library of Congress' bill-tracking website, H.R. 1503 would "require the principal campaign committee of a candidate for election to the office of president to include with the committee's statement of organization a copy of the candidate's birth certificate, together with such other documentation
as may be necessary to establish that the candidate meets the qualifications for eligibility to the Office of President under the Constitution."

Were is the media I mean everyone, Glenn can you at least cover it and get a weekly update or something.

Free cars for poor fuel road rage!

By Hillary Chabot | Thursday, May 7, 2009 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Local Coverage
Gov. Deval Patrick’s free wheels for welfare recipients program is revving up despite the stalled economy, as the keys to donated cars loaded with state-funded insurance, repairs and even AAA membership are handed out to get them to work.

But the program - fueled by a funding boost despite the state’s fiscal crash - allows those who end up back on welfare to keep the cars anyway.

“It’s mind-boggling. You’ve got people out there saying, ‘I just lost my job. Hey, can I get a free car, too?’ ” said House Minority Leader Brad Jones (R-North Reading).

The Patrick administration decided last month to funnel an additional $30,000 to the nearly $400,000 annual car ownership program.

The program, which is provided by the State Department of Transitional Assistance, gives out about 65 cars a year, said DTA Commissioner Julia Kehoe.

The state pays for the car’s insurance, inspection, excise tax, title, registration, repairs and a AAA membership for one year at a total cost of roughly $6,000 per car.

The program, which started in 2006, distributes cars donated by non-profit charities such as Good News Garage, a Lutheran charity, which also does the repair work on the car and bills the state.

Kehoe defended the program, saying the state breaks even by cutting welfare payments to the family - about $6,000 a year.

“If you look at the overall picture, this helps make sure people aren’t staying on cash assistance. It’s a relatively short payment for a long-term benefit,” Kehoe said.

But Kehoe admitted about 20 percent of those who received a car ended up back on welfare, and while they lose the insurance and other benefits, they don’t have to return the car.

“Given the state’s fiscal condition, paying for AAA and auto inspection costs is outrageous,” said Senate Minority Leader Richard Tisei (R-Wakefield). “There are so many families out there trying to deal with layoffs and pay cuts. You have to wonder what the state’s priorities are at this point.”

Applicants for cars must have a job or prove they could get one if they had the car in order to qualify. Once they have the wheels, they must send DTA their pay stubs to prove they are employed.

To get the cars, they must be unable to reach work by public transportation and have a clean driving record. The program is only available to families on welfare with children.

Kehoe said the bulk of cars go to places with less public transportation, such as Fitchburg, New Bedford and Lowell.

“I can’t believe there are no restrictions on how they use the car,” Jones said. “I just don’t see this as a core function of government.”

Did some one say when is the next Tea Party? Maybe I should become a Mass-hole again.

Well the president and his party already have shown they do not want to follow the Constitution, but now it has gone all the way down to local government. No freedom of speech allowed! or it DHS labeling Tea Party organizers and it's followers as Domestic Terrorists. History is destine to repeat "Don't trad on me"

City Council votes to deny public speaker

by Bob Gough, editor, QuincyNews.org

Along a party line vote, the Quincy City Council denied a written request to speak by a taxpaying resident of the city.

Steve McQueen, one of the organizers of the Quincy Tea Party effort, requested to speak on the recently approved $31.2 million budget and water and sewer rate increases.

When it came time to vote to open the floor to allow the speaker, a mixed voice vote took place. A roll call vote ensued and the seven Democrats denied McQueen's opportunity to speak while six Republicans voted to allow him to speak.

Alderman Mike Rein (R-5th Ward) was absent.

Alderman Mike Farha (R-4th Ward) said he had never seen anyone denied the right to speak in his 10 years on the council and called the vote "outrageous."

Farha spoke up after the vote, saying "We have never not allowed a member of the public to address this party."

Alderman Steve Duesterhaus (D-2nd Ward) countered by saying "A point of order here. This is an incidental motion and is not subject to debate." Mayor John Spring agreed and Farha finished with "I just want my objection noted for the record."

Duesterhaus (D-2nd Ward) said there had been ample opportunity to comment on the budget and the water and sewer increases before last week's votes had taken place.

"We had a public hearing on the budget," Duesterhaus said. "We had an unofficial hearing on the budget where the department heads talked about the budget. It had three readings at three meetings. We had three readings on the water and sewer rates. Anybody could have commented on them. They passed and now we're looking forward, not looking back."

McQueen was "dumbfounded."

"Freedom of speech was not the issue I came to talk about, but it is the issue I left with," he said. "I cannot believe what took place here tonight. This solidifies my beliefs."

Before the meeting, Mayor John Spring was sworn in along with four aldermen who were re-elected on April 7 and the two newly elected aldermen, Kyle Moore (R-3rd Ward) and Dan Brink (R-6th Ward).

OK. To celebrate his first 100 Days in office he wasted over $500,000 in plane costs to hold a so called town meeting in St. Louis, makes fun of all of us that were holding tea bags on April 15th, makes fun of FOX News because the dare to ask questions about his administration, and basically says we have nothing to say because we disagree. Do you all see a pattern here. Why do all the intellectual elites think because they say something thing is true, then it is true no discussion needed. They may all be smart, but none of them have any common sense. These problems are not research projects that one uses theory to fix them, but since none of them have had a real jobs they do not have any real world knowledge or experience to fix anything. The clock is running http://obamaclock.org/.
I can not wait til July 4th!

Hey this is change we can all believe in:
Obama Orders Review of New York Flight as Cost Put at $328,835 , White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said "yesterday’s flyover was “two training missions that became in the end a picture mission” and only Air Force personnel were aboard." I think to stock pictures, a MAC, and Photoshop could have done the same thing for the price of a typical Wash, DC night out.
