Bill of Rights Amendment 1, right of privacy to believe, Amendment 3, privacy of home, Amendment 4, privacy of possessions and persons, Amendment 9 other rights are retained by state and people (not in Constitution), Amendment 10, power is in the people and the states, Amendment 14 additional power of privacy of persons NO STATE SHALL DENY...LIFE, LIBERTY OR PROPERTY...without due process of law.
Taking someone's privacy away by the goverment can only be done by force. LIBERTY specifically entails the right to be left alone, and there are several cases involving this very issue.
There is no doubt that privacy is Liberty.
Why is Liberty a 'far left" issue? Why are some of the republican party so afraid of liberty of the people? This is not the party of Reagan., nor other republicans.

The Alaska Supreme Court went as far in the direction of protecting privacy rights as any state. In Ravin v State (1975), drawing on cases such as Stanley and Griswold but also basing its decision on the more generous protection of the Alaska Constitution's privacy protections, the Alaska Supreme Court found constitutional protection for the right of a citizen to possess and use small quantities of marijuana in his own home.
While liberties are being eroded all the time, currently the right of privacy is upheld by Constitutional Case Law and a candidate for President of the US who blatantly wants to state these dangerous things is not a conservative republican and does not deserve to gain votes from the conservative crowd. I could NEVER imagine Reagan saying something like this.
