Werner Herzog is the best at Q&As. He can take the dumbest non-questions and weave beautiful magic from them. (I think the secret is being supremely free of shame so you don't feel obligated to suffer fools). At a showing of 'cave of forgotten dreams' i was at, someone had some rambling rant about 3D technology, and he responded by talking very eloquently about how the only other 3D film he'd be interested in making would be a porno.

i accidentally learned a lot about the girl i used to sublet from when i leafed through her collection of books, which included numerous self-help type books with worksheets and such.

better ability to cope with isolation is actually one of several points in the argument for primarily women, if not all-women, space missions :D http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/... (but of course, the psych studies are limited so take with a grain of salt)

i love birds! but i sympathize with cats being allowed to live happily. plus, even though cats kill like 1 billion birds every year (according to one study, of which i'd be interested in seeing the species breakdown; surely it must mostly be common birds like sparrows, pigeons and mourning doves), i'd wager human-caused habitat loss + climate change dooms FAR more.

plus i think jonathan franzen's 'freedom' made me reflexively dislike vehemently anti-outdoor cat people.

I believe one of my best squat sessions was on the last morning practice for my senior year of college water polo. We drank mimosas in the parking lot and ate bagels with cream cheese and then ate leftover cream cheese when the bagels gave out.

Other Femslash Fridays I'd love to illustrate, off the top of my head: X-Men (Rogue/anyone), ASOIAF (Sansa/Dany), Animorphs (Cassie / Rachel)

re: 6: yeah, i thought telomeres might be key, since they shorten over time! But the problem is not all your DNA ends shorten at the same rate, since some cell types divide more often than others. Maybe when DNA is acquired, the process like, samples the genetic material in every cell and creates some 'average' DNA sample with a baseline telomere length?
