It has such a lodge feeling. Amazing, HGTV, the DH just keep getting better and better. If there were long dining tables and floating candles,..it could pass for Hogwart's Greathall!! heehee I really love it! What a cool house. :)
When I first saw the pictures it looked like an underground home...it looks so private! Gee, what's private? I've almost forgotten(I'm living with in-laws) LOL :)
Oh yes!! That is a comment I can relate to. They keep the central air set on 82 degrees...we are in the upstairs of an older Cape Cod... so, the old commercial, that said, "Take a Nestea plunage", and they fall into a pool? I can relate to that one too! But if they kept it turnrd down to where we would actually feel the a/c they would probably freeze... <SPAN class=idc-smiley><SPAN style="BACKGROUND-POSITION: -12px 0pt"><SPAN>:D</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> I agree HGTV& DIY TAKE ME AWAY!!!!
They are in their 80's and needed the help. It's not all bad...if we won(which I'm not banking on that) I imagine every relative I have would want to move in!! :) but, it is enjoyable dreaming!! and...I love to read all the blogs, I most love the clues, even though I'm never even close.hee hee :D I'm on my second atlas...ha
This is my favorite DH so far. I love, love, LOVE it!! It has the perfect kitchen in my eyes. Boy, Bloggers have the best taste! It is just picture perfect!:D
The DH is beautiful...I've been living with my in-laws for almost 2 months now, can not put in words how bad I want to win this house!!! heehee I'm glad you finally posted something new Mary, thank you. We(my husband and I) have been working almost non-stop for about a month straight, so I enjoyed sitting down and catching up with blogs. I always leave the computer with a big SMILE:D
There is a Trout Pond, west virginia...dont know how to post it.:( if you goggle it you'll see. you may see a few other connections as well...It's in Hardy county. In last clues to HGTV DH there was an actual photo too...taken in Austraila, that could mean nothing Nebraska.:)
Just remember....the plant that was or wasn't a fig or a rhody...acliff(in Austraila?) need I even mention Elvis and Hawaii? It's okay everybody the sluething is my favorite part...but, at the end of the day...have any of the clues made any sense at all? I'll rephrase that have SOME of them....LOL I'm not complaining I learn something new everyday on this blog!!:) I secretly wish the GREEN HOME could be near me so I can blog the progress like you know who on dream home in UTAH...:)
