This is actually only 1/4 the story. Since you seem to be so privy to actual information. I am wondering why. My lease says "Gallery" on it's intended use?.. She must of been shocked when she printed it. The Landlord never caught tenants living there. That is baloney. It is a 24hr workspace.... Why would the gallery have ten days to paint over Murals on the inside of the building???...oh ..because the cops told her "the city doesn't want them". That is what happened...Why didn't the cops tell her neighboring tenant to paint over their mural?. Because they have one.15' away on the inside of their business. Oh thats right .. all this valuable information was excluded...The landlord should feel lucky right now. The wrongful eviction lawsuit could really hurt. So as her friend.. I wouldn't say any more valuable information on her behalf

How subjective is the burger king ad that you saw while driving ?.. you saw it on a billboard.. Because I don't like them.. That billboard might even be illegal. Clear channel puts them up illegally and just pays the fine. That is their mural. Can you evict them please?

Ok........ So first..... I said specifically. I am not an artist. I am a builder. I did this show to launch a new Portland Mural District. We did not do one illegal thing. Everything we painted on was inside of our building, with the exception of a rose near our roll up door...A painting on a wall with permission does not make it graffiti. This was art....Our intention was to create a beautiful area of amazing public art. Very much like San Francisco's Mural District in the mission and The Mural District in Fresno that completely revitalized an entire neighborhood. The Portland police graffiti squad does not want this. They would not listen to me. They have been harassing our landlord to the Point where she had no choice. They kept calling her every week and telling her she was responsible for any graffiti in the city, and was facing fines... This is illegal.. They committed a crime. Five businesses were evicted without notice by the graffiti cops. This was also illegal. Why would graffiti cops be serving an eviction? That job is for the sheriffs department. There was 5 cops the night of our art show harassing everyone. They do not get to decide what is art and what is not. If i did something wrong hold me accountable, and come and arrest me. They can't because we did nothing wrong. They can spin it ten different ways. But the truth is...We got evicted because The Portland police ..Anthony Zanetti And Matt Miller...wasted your money evicting 5 business all because they didn't like our art show. That is a violation of all our civil rights. And they will answer to this...They can have a so called investigation forever, because they did not arrest any of our artists.. Everything we did was with permission. This was in my building. As a gallery.... Is the gallery now responsible for any action the artist does outside the gallery?. What if the artist got arrested for shoplifting. Am I responsible? That's what this new precedent means.. ART IS NOW A CRIME
