My sister went to college with a (very talented and nice boy) and at every graduation event his father was like YEAH! THAT'S MY SON! YEAH! and it was just so delightful how thrilled he was by his son.

my summer camp had us climb mount washington and the reward was getting to eat clam chowder and fudge on the top. SO GREAT.

also we had this hike called insanity where you'd ridge walk 9 presidentials in one day including mount washington. the oldest you could be at this camp was like 14. WE WERE TOO SMALL FOR THIS.

the first time I climbed mount washington I cried the last two miles because I could see the summit but thanks to being above treeline it was SO FAR AWAY.

FUCK THOSE BUMPER STICKERS I get so irrationally angry at those. I had to haul my ass up and down that mountain twice at the ages of 11 and 13.
