I almost ruined my TV again. I just saw on the local Dallas fox news, We are giving Honda buyers $5000 for buying a natural gas powered civic. Now They are suggesting that congress increase this tax incentive to $12,500 per vehicle. Is it just me or is this really dumb. If Honda, owned by Japan the last I heard, can't build these little runabouts, for a price normal people can afford, Why are they using our TAX DOLLARS to bring them into a price range some will part with. I understand they retail for around 25,000, for a Civic! Are you kidding me! Anyway GM now stands for GOVERNMENT MOTORS Mr. Car CZAR mabie you could have them build a chevette that runs off of natural gas, so Congress can give the tax payers the 12,500 per vehicle tax credit, to buy the little piece of S#%@. What is wrong with these people, OR am I the crazy one, just sayin.
Is it just me, or do the pictures of Iran send chills down your back too. In the words of that ole crazy Frank Zappa, and the mothers of invention, IT CAN"T HAPPEN HERE.
To Jshop, Fox rebroadcasts Glenn sometime around midinight here in Texas. Check you listings you may be able to record the re-broadcast. That segment with the self-proclaimed left was priceless.
Glenn if you read our posts here, I have a point to make with you. I am a huge supporter of most of what you say. I however wonder if you are missing the point saying on both radio and T.V. today that Obama has put a price on our military members head. Have you forgotten that Sen. Leiberman and Sen. Graham said they would attach this amendment, preventing said photos from being released for three years, to every bill that comes thru the Senate, until it is passed. Seems to me this is more those two Senators making good on that promise.
This is a reply to philip f . once again the reply button on posts won't work from my computer
Why waste your time. Even if It could be proven tomorrow, that the whole 9/11 attack was the brain child of President George W. Bush, Which there is no reason to believe is true, just saying IF. What difference for a better tomorrow in America would be made. Friends we have some serious problems that have to be solve NOW. Jerking around with what ifs that won't make a difference has got to stop
This is a reply to Kimbirly's earlier post. For some reason I can't use the reply button again tonight
Nice piece of work Kimbirly. Just a suggestion, Our National Anthem is a whole lot stronger if you preform both the first and last verse. O thus be it ever when free men shall stand, between their loved homes, and the wars desolation. Blessed with victory and peace, may the heaven rescued land praise the power that has made, and preserved us a nation. Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, and this be our motto, in God Is Our Trust. And the Star Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave o're the land of the free, and the home of the brave.
Tough Question! I personally believe abortion is the taking of a innocent life, thus murder. I also believe that the least possible government intervention into our personal lives, is a necessary goal. Before Roe V Wade there were still abortions being preformed in America, with a much greater health hazard to the women having them. My life has showed me that God will let me make some terrible choices, not mistakes, learning experiences. I firmly believe abortion will never again be illegal. In that belief I would propose a new title, Pro INFORMED Choice. If the laws were such that adult women, seeking abortion, were required to have listen to the moral objections as well as the medical implication of the procedure, many would choose not to go through with it. Also parents should have to sign off for any minor child, unless an exception is granted by the courts, due to insest .
some of his antics have been pretty darn funny also
Good Thought but Very Bad Idea. That would be considered a military takeover, something we need to refrain from at all costs. The military is not elected, and therefore subject to the civilian officials who are.
