So long intensedebate comment sections!

Pentagon could be and should be a star in WWE. Put him in WWE with his LU character and he's money.

Instead they'll give him a corny entrance, no merch, and a friendly nondescript high-flyer persona.

Ha its all true. We just keep going to the well again and again to diminishing returns. Luckily we have the Network and a million hours of content that could keep us away from the current product for a long time.

I've taken a break from watching Monday and Tuesday nights for most of the last few months. With Monday Night Football returning RAW will mean nothing for the Fall/Winter months. The TV matchups for both shows are tired as well. The brand split offered nothing other than repetition that burned me out on the product a year ago.

Listening to podcasts and reading columns such as these is more engaging than suffering through 5 hrs of wwe television. I still do have the Network and enjoy NXT though, Simple, creative storylines, different fueds, new characters and 1 hour. What more could we want from the product.

Tito on point like usual.

Braun v Roman in September is a no-win. Especially seeing as its almost guaranteed they will fight eachother at least one more time over the next 2-3 months. There is legitimately no one (other than Seth) on the same level of believability on RAW to challenge for the title. The important note to take is to get the belt off of Roman, thats all that matters IMO.

The biggest problem isn't that the WWE isn't keeping with their tride and true midcard to mainevent level maturation the problem is the Brand Split. Fresh feuds die quick as they are repeated every week or for multiple PPV's. You would think a multiple PPV 'fued' would add layers to competition and raise the stakes. Hasn't been the case for the most part. Even worse the TV product has become so mundane as the same people fight and everyone could care less (Corbin-balor anyone?).

Hate to have the nostalgia love but that segment had more meat on the bone than anything we had heard from any full time wrestler. Its like they let them go on the mic and cut promos with some life behind them. Everyone else comes out and is allowed to talk paint by numbers.

They turned Strouman to keep the belt on Roman and set up a lame SS match that we will see 100 iterations of on RAW before the PPV.

That will put Braun in the same catergory as Corbin and Sandow. NOT good for business.

Doc if it wasn't for your podcasts and columns (along with a slew of other teams at LOP), I most likely wouldn't be watching the product anymore. This is coming from someone who has watched since the early 90's at best. Your critical analysis along with other content (The Legacy Series rocks), is more interesting and engaging than struggling through Monday and Tuesday nights along with these bloated PPVs the last 2 years.

I'll enjoy your content for the next few months, thanks again and we will talk!

It was a great listen for sure. But another Shield triple threat will cause a few problems, especially if at Mania.

- The match will be for the title, and it will main event (Reigns placed in another 'going-on-last' WM Maine Event
- The Shield triple threat is one of the last pillars Vince can give to Roman to topple. He's already given Roman every big obstacle to vanquish. Winning the Shield triple Threat WM match would be the last brass ring.
- Dean won the first, the next will probably go to Rollins on a B level PPV with Vince waiting years from now to give the Roman win on the biggest stage.

Is it a coincidence all the above problems revolve around Roman? I think not.
