Re: The 17th Amendment
I think we should organize a grass-roots movement to repeal the 17th Amendment. This amendment effectively stripped the States' Governments of their representation in the Federal Government. Repealing it would add some accountability to the Senate where now this is very little.

I'm thinking of putting together a website, petition, whatever else...
If 2/3 of the States call for a convention we could get this thru! and why would States NOT want to get some of the power back!?
