We should double the fine. Don't these dreamers understand that laws are there to be followed, not ignored?
Some in the eastern Iowa media seem to find controversy where there isn't any. It sells papers and advertising space. Seems like a number of fine coaches have been run out of the area by this type of rumor-mongering that got devoured by the vultures.
In those cases, the solution is slightly different. Two bullets instead of one. And let her daddy do it. Problem fixed.
Judge Marsha Bergan. Unbelievable. Maybe she feels sorry about all the black women allegedly raped by their white slavemasters in previous centuries and are trying to even the score a little. Is this some warped form of the Stockholm syndrome by proxey?
There is a group of people that doesn't realize that self defense is a HUMAN RIGHT. These people should NEVER be elected to any office and should be kept at a less-than-ten-percent-level of the general population.
There is something seriously, (and possibly genetically), wrong with people who think it's their right to endanger those around them with their reckless behavior. Keep the cameras. And add more.
I would like to see a breakdown of political party affiliation the offenders are. My experience, in this area, has been that the cars that blow by me the fastest are from Johnson County. Hmmmm.
All managers, whether public or private, want increases in their budgets every year. It has something to do with power. They will say that they are trying to make things better, and that might be part of it. But the need for power is a hard addiction to overcome.
“people will die” if his department’s rescue service falls to budget cuts. If we reason further, more people will be saved if we add more ambulances. How many is enough? Do we want one on every block? All taxpayer supported? There is a point of diminishing returns somewhere. On another tack, maybe sheriff Gardner is trying to protect his budget. (You NEVER want it to decrease. Always more, more, more). There is a point at which the billpayers draw a line in the sand and say, "ENOUGH!" There are those that say, "TOO MUCH!" From the results of the elections a few months ago, it looks like the latter is gaining sway.
