I'm in contact with my legislators and my senator all the time. I have their e-mails in my address book. I can contact them directly and do so often.

I can't disagree with the above posts regarding the hopelessness of the situation but, we've got to vote these people out when they get out of line. They're their to SERVE us, not the other way around.

Recently, as a trial balloon, the congress said that they were thinking of making vets use their private insurance to help subsidize the cost of care. There was a firestorm of letters and e-mails that hit DC like Katrina. The resolution was dropped.
Our system demands involvement. Raise hell and put jacks under it!

When everyone gets done posting here, please write your senators and legislators and tell them absolutely no more taxes. Tell them that you'll vote them out next election. This will get their attention a little.

I would never tell anybody where they can or cannot go. If you want to do this, fine. I choose not to go to the Central area, Rainier, Belltown, or any other place very late at night. Its not worth the risk to me.If you want to, go with my blessing and I hope you all stay safe.

Even when the police do their job and arrest someone, the justice system plays softball with this human debris, they get out jail and continue to victimize people. It's a hopeless revolving door.
To go out at night now is like reliving The Omega Man!
