I'm the same way, but this is actually really accessible! They use the flashlights and their facial expressions well so I wasn't too confused. (FLASHLIGHT PENTAGRAMS! Brilliant) Plus, I heard the director laughing a couple of times when I was too nervous so he gave me some cues.
Oh my god, yes! My grandpa had a fascinating life, but he only ever hinted at the past. His present was too full of (at least) 3 girlfriends, flirting with nurses, and forgiving a fellow nursing home resident who fought for the Nazis in WWII because, as Opa said, "he's on the right side now".
Two months after I came back to the country my father killed himself. The day I got back to Canada my dad and I sat on the couch and watched TV together. He held my hand for over an hour, and this is how I like to remember him; sitting quietly beside me. And maybe if there is an afterlife, he is still doing that, even if I can’t see him or feel him beside me.
I miss him so much, but I like to think that I am glad that since he was in pain, he isn’t in pain any longer.
I was a teacher in Korea and one of my male students (also called Dragon!) was all about getting perms and having nail polish. I was a little shocked, but no one else seemed to care. His classmates thought he looked great. Conversely, all the TV shows and movies are about 'being a man'. Like you said, its a concept more than a lifestyle.
Can we claim half of G-Dragon since he is so fashionably androgynous? (Not androgynous because its fashionable, but androgynous AND fashionable.)
I now have a fetish for men crisply folding newspapers. Thanks a lot, Mallory.
One time Dave Grohl touched my arm. I haven't washed it since.
...but was it really just Tim Curry?
Holy shit. Are you saying I had a demon on my bed? No amount of smudging is going to make me feel ok tonight.
