When the economy was at its lowest ebb ( we're still bumping along at the bottom) all the usual suspect claimed capitalism has failed. Anyone who thinks we live under a capitalist system when the state spends 50p for every pound spent needs to get a new dictionary.

Great idea from Hitchens in his column in the (on-line, I hasten to add) Mail this morning.
Compulsory voting, so long as there's an option to select "none of the above".
If the none of the above figure hits 30% no MP is returned for that seat.

Surely he cannot expect anyone to believe him? He should be laughed out of H of P or strung up. Preferably strung up.

I'm a nationalist but also a libertarian, and I wish the state would shrink, and then shrink some more. Personally, I cannot see why it is any business of the state's to deliver letters and parcels.
That said, it was not in the manifesto, and from what I believe the majority of the population want to keep things the way they are. I expect a load of contract workers, mainly immigrants on minimum wages, will gradually replace the existing workforce and the service will get worse. Apart from that, a very few people will get eye watering amounts of money for organising the sell off. Cameron is a despicable pos.

You think you are a good parent: you keep your kids clean, well-fed, healthy, you comfort them when they are upset, you send them to school to learn, you provide them with everything they need. Except for one thing: you do not provide them with a future. Whenever you vote LibLabCon you are voting to destroy your child's future, because you are voting for mass immigration which means that your children will have fewer opportunities and a much higher chance of being raped or beaten or murdered. When your grown-up child asks why they have just been beaten up and robbed by an immigrant gang, will you answer that it is because you voted for it?
Stop being a bad parent: act now to protect your child's future. Vote for a political party who will stop immigration and reverse it. Put your child's future first."

Found this on Irish Savant's site. I thought it was pretty good!

From Gates of Vienna........

The Israelis are taking action to deal with the mass influx of asylum seekers from sub-Saharan Africa: they are shipping them out to Uganda, with some incentives to induce the Ugandan government to agree to the deal.

Could Europe learn from Israel’s example?

The following article from unzensuriert.at was translated from German into Dutch by E.J.Bron, and from Dutch into English for Gates of Vienna by El Rubio:

Israel ships black African asylum seekers out to Uganda

Israel is shipping thousands of black African asylum seekers out to Uganda. Right now there are 55,000 African asylum seekers n Israel. Many of them beg, hang around in he streets or hire themselves out as day laborers. Israel wants to get rid of these uninvited guests. Therefore the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a deal with the dictator Museveni in Uganda. Israel will give Uganda development assistance and weapons for its army, and in return Uganda will take the asylum seekers.

Israel will provide Uganda with mortars, artillery guns and surveillance systems, and also it will train fighter pilots in Israel.

Nice article on the utter hypocricy of those who would drag us into yet another war.

The express is carrying the same story. Haven't been there for a while but the mods seem to be on holiday. I've put up a couple of posts which are a bit near the knuckle ( i.e. truthful) just to test the water.

I didn't like what he said. Either it's the truth as he sees it, or he's trying to get his name in the papers.
I also have no doubt that some foreigners (not many) do arrive here penniless, are grateful, and work hard.
However if he is telling the truth, as he sees it, it is the cause of our disgusting politicians ( of all three main parties) who have set about wrecking the industrial base of our once great country and creating an underclass of welfare junkies. There is no doubt that historically we are a nation are hard working innovative people and a force for the good in this world. Get rid of the scum currently pulling the stings and greatness will return.
