Man. I've loved this website, this community. The Toast (and The Hairpin) were really important to me. They were some of the first communities on the internet were I felt comfortable jumping in and talking. They've gotten me through those post college years. Gave me space to bitch about my interminable job search, and just a place to feel at home.

Oh man! The interning thing is a hustle, ya know? Sometimes it's just not feasible to do work for no or little money. But sometimes you luck out. If I could do college over, I would have interned everywhere.

Best of luck though! My experience wasn't everything I wanted (or needed), but I learned cool stuff and met great people. I suppose there are worse fates.
