Maybe it is. But is there any harm in funding candidates that espouse the 912 Principles and Values? We have to go somewhere beyond just posting and rallying, do we not?

From this organizational tool springs forth a true organization.

You know, 911familymember had a good idea. He is dead on in his assessment of the power of the 912 membership. When I attended the Tea Party in Oklahoma City I was impressed with the turnout. I know many are 912Project members and many are not. But if there are over 600 thousand members here and several hundred thousand Tea Partiers, we may be pushing a million people with similar ideals.

Whether it is time to start a new political party or not, I don't know. But I have to agree with 911familymember in that there is strength in numbers and strength in money.

Many of us, if not all of us, have thought or stated that state governors should decline the stimulus money. In accepting it, they become beholding to the federal government and perpetuate the unbridled spending. I submit that each of us do the same thing by accepting the recent federal tax credit that has reduced our federal payroll withholding. The $400 per person "Making Work Pay" tax break is part of the stimulus package.

I submit that if that $400 per person annually were reinvested in 912/Tea Party organizations and candidates, we would not only get the attention of our elected officials, but we would have the power to take back our country.

Perhaps it is time to put OUR money where our mouths are.

Obama gave you a new payroll tax cut, put it to good use!

What was it, a $400 a year credit? We ask the state governors to "send it back" or refuse the stimulus money. Why not use OUR stimulus money to strengthen a new conservative movement, a 912 movement?

How ironic it would be if the tax credit were used to defeat these socialists.

Thank you Frank, you are absolutely correct. We have the numbers and with our Tea Party friends who are not members here (and there are many) we can make a difference.
