We wear many hats, race, gender, state, religion etc. etc. However I don't believe that we should vote based solely on any one hat. Let us consider what is best for the nation and people before casting our vote.
One should not belittle people suffering from depression and are suicidal. However i do believe that the medical profession has not really found a "cure" for such suffering. If it was some pills you could take to solve it, then I am sure suicide and depression will be cured. As it stands, people, even the professionals, don't understand the causes. I wish to propose one cause... perhaps it is spiritual in nature...
If people can't see the tyranny of the "transgender political correctness" lobby n this situation, it will not bode well for sports. Imagine one day when the womens events are competed by the "formerly" males then where is the fairness?
The article sounds very logical. Behavioural change is never lasting if enforced from the external. It must come from within. Once removed from the external pressure, people stop conforming. The inevitable stress of trying to comply with the external pressure needs an outlet. This issue needs a deeper study and analysis. There could be other factors at play as well...

wow, civil servants fare much better than me... i haven't got a raise in 4 years due to the slow economy and housing industry doldrums... wonder where they got the money from...my income tax has been lower due to my stagnant pay...oh i forgot GST
