Ok i ll try. I hace an iPhone 3GS 8gb. It s jailbreaked and unblocked. It have iOS 4.3.1. And i want yo install Facebook or Twitter apps and o cant . What version of iOS can i update thos phone.

you are rigth. it was for a 3g... ok i will download the correct one. last thing i have to download 3.1.3 to restore whith itunes and then 3.1.2 to use redsnow. is that correct.?

first of all , thanks for your help.
i do what you tell me, and. click restore holding shift buttom. then i choose 3.1.3 ipsw that i have downloaded erlier. itunes told me that the archive is not compatible.
( i have downloaded ipsw 3.1.3 , 3.1.2 and 3.0.1)

how can i restore to 3.1.3 ? when i conect tthe iphone to itunes it try to connect to internet but i dont see the restore option.

so i dont have to use redsnow? and the instructions are for 2.0 ipsw.(is the same i have 3.0.1 . one more thing the problem begin when i choose in the setting menu to erase all content and settings

i have my 2g jailed in 3.0.1 and stucked in itunes screen. I have redsn0w 0.9.4 . I download ipsw from iclarified (3.0.1 for 2g) and i run redsn0w and selected the ipsw 3.0.1 and the program said "Unable to recognize specified ipsw".
what i am doing wrong....

PLEASE HELP ME (again). i have an iphone 2 g 3.0.1 . It was jailbraken. I used a comand "erase all content and settings" and now the iphone is stucked in the itunes screen, BUT the phone is still UNLOCKED. I guess that i have to jailbreak it again. i dont want to make a mistake because the iphone is not locked.

i cant do anything, but the phone is still working like phone.
I guess that i have to jailbreak it again. i dont want to make a mistake because the iphone is not locked.
i will appreciate any help.
