Alan - I understand what you're saying here, but my point was that numbers, and questionnaire wording, can be arranged to say just about anything - regardless of the toxicity of the process OR the outcome. Sounds a lot like our news outlets. Here, on this very site, I get thumbs downed for anything I say, regardless of what I say and who agrees. So, if I were to ask, 'Is President Obama corrupt?", the response would be overwhelmingly 'Yes". That doesn't mean, by any stretch, that the general US public would agree with a similar answer. Same goes for surveys, that you refered to, issued by, say, Fox news. "All media is there to generate revenues relevant to themselves" Same here, same at CNN, same at NBC, same at Fox.
I am part of that Liberal viewing audience - My job requires me to do so. But more often than not, I see people claim one way or the other that their news is 'right'.. By comparison, is it right to say that a 'light' cigarette is better for you than a 'regular' cigarette? And who do I get to do the survey for me? Surveys can lead to just about any solution, depending on who's conducting the survey. Farber - you're the smartest conservative on this board - please tell me you know better.

Hopefully it will teach you that ALL media is garbage, and pokes holes in your theory that allows you to simply agree with the side that appeals to you. American media isn't in the business to inform you - The same way that Monsanto isn't in the business to feed you, etc. Enjoy.
