The real problem here is calling these vile people "recognized black leaders". The only reason they are "recognized" is due to the media. They are black, yes. Leaders, not really. More like oppressors, keeping their "peeps" in their place - all riled up and nowhere to go and nothing but whitey and the Republicans to hate. Deflection in it's purest form. They are dependent on the fact that they are black for their votes, power and prestige. They use their racial identity to their own advantage while stepping all over the people they claim to care about the most. In my opinion prostitutes and drug dealers are higher on the food chain for at least their motives are clear.

13 years ago @ Big Government - Really honey? Give us all a break - please. Your story sounds like political damage control. This pervert sends you messages via twitter or facebook or whatever of a sexual nature and while you purport to not do anything to encourage it, you do nothing to stop it. And now that the story is in the main-stream you want to diminish your role? Good luck with that.

This is not good. Take away all of the biblical/end times theology and it still isn't good. Not now at least.
Let's think about this for a minute. Let's think about this beyond the knee-jerk, kill em all, let God separate them attitude, which by the way is an attitude that I have enjoyed far too often of late.
Let's say that the Muslim Brotherhood controlled Egypt strikes a deal with Iran, who is dangerously close to nukes, if they don't have them already. Let's add to the scenario that Libya falls (not bad on paper) and is controlled by the Muslin brotherhood (not out of the question) and Libya strikes a similar deal with Iran. Take a brief moment to look at a map of the Middle East. The only thing standing between these combined powers and the tiny state of Israel is Saudi Arabia - not necessarily known for it's allegiance to anything but power and money. Which way will Saudi Arabia swing?
If I, as a lowly American citizen can deduce the answer to this question, is it not apparent that Mossad can come to the same conclusion? And that being said, what would be the Israeli response? If it were me having to make the decision, I would decide on first strike and launch nuke(s) to take out my enemies. Even if the Israeli's did not launch first, who is to say that their opposition would not?
As much as I would like to believe that "those people over there" annihilating each other would be the end of all conflict worldwide, I am afraid it would just be the beginning. Since "they" are the seat of the world's energy, their annihilation would be the beginning of our demise. Until we wean ourselves (by drilling our own precious oil) off the teat of the Middle East, we will always be embroiled in their archaic 14th century disputes.

John Boehner was not my first choice for Speaker of the House, Michelle Bachman was. That being said, I hoped and prayed that he would stay true to the cause. Unfortunately for all of us that has not been the case. However, for the life of me, I cannot figure him out. He is NOT presidential material. He lacks a certain panache necessary for the office (not that BHO has it either). So what is his end game? Why is he capitulating and not fighting the good fight? He seems to be more diplomat than politician and in my humble opinion the only thing worse than a politician is a diplomat. With politicians as with broken clocks at least they are right once or twice a day. Diplomats are never right, they are always shuffling and spinning, never fully aware of what their respective governments are up to, but always in defensive mode. So, thinking outside of the box, what is John Boehner's (and the GOP's) end game?
Can someone help me out here because I am at a loss...
bnd, spinning

Does it matter? I mean really...how the apple rotted is not at important as the fact that the apple is rotten to the core.
"Tell me Kloppenburg does not look like a quintessential liberal super-bitch? Am I wrong? For other examples, look at Francis Fox Piven (I try not to), Hillary Clinton (eeeesch!), Nancy Pelosi (she looks dumb, too)..."
Sorry, no can do. Oh - and I'd like to add Janet Napalitano and Mrs. Barack Obama to that list.
"Is that another reason why they slam Palin and Bachman? Jealously? Because they aren't hideous looking unwashed skanks?"
Yup - absolutely.
Obviously you are not a woman because you would be able to spot the catlike behavior a mile away. Unfortunately, SOME women are still stuck in high school mentality, for that matter, so are SOME men. They spend their entire adult lives trying to get even with their tormentors. Wether it be the pretty but vacuous cheerleader or the Adonis known as the captain of the football team. For some reason these people are never able to shed the feelings of inferiority one generally acquires in high school but that most of us leave behind shortly thereafter.
And, one more point. All of the aforementioned liberal women have one thing in common that make them
hideous to behold - they have dead eyes. Looking into their eyes I see darkness, self-loathing and fear. Whereas, when I look at Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman, they have light in their eyes, their eyes smile and dance. Palin's & Bachman's eyes tell the world that they are whole. The aforementioned liberal women's eyes tell the world that they are broken.
