Maxfield Dare may "turn his life around" in prison, but that is highly doubtful. It is almost certain that shortly after he is released he will be breaking into more homes, robbing more people, and seriously wounding or killing some. He needs to be kept in prison for life. Anything less is not worth the risk. It just isn't.

Since Colton Harris-Moore can have reading material, give him "Escape From Camp 14" by Blaine Harder

Leave Colton Harris-Moore in solitary confinement for the rest of his life, and the same should be done with that piece of filth, Maxfield Paris Dare.

Maxfield Dare and other burglars are rewarded by those who knowingly buy the goods they steal.

Take a very good look at the picture of Max Dare. The chances are extremely high that he will break into more houses and rob more people on the street.

I contacted my legislators ( 46th District ) and none of them responded. No wonder our "justice" system is broken.

I hope Rexroat gets a very unfriendly reception in prison: very unfriendly.

You can leave a message for attorney Tim Leary, the man who helped Rexroat get such a lenient sentence. Leary's contact information is right here http://learydefense.com/ . I have already left Mr Leary a message.

Rexroat is the one who committed murder, but Leary has done the community an enormous disservice by seeing to it that Rexroat will be back on the road again way too soon.

Why such leniency for Patrick Rexroat? He should never be allowed to see the outside of a prison cell again. I can't imagine why our legislators are so lenient, unless they are being bribed. What other explanation is there? Even an 8-year sentence would not have been enough. Only life without parole is enough.

Chau Phan needs to pay back every penny of what he stole, and if any of his friends or family members are living in property paid for with stolen money or wearing clothes or using other items paid for with stolen money, then they need to be evicted and they need to turn in all items paid for with stolen money.

Being an effective 911 dispatcher is a very challenging job, one that very few of us could do well.

Having said that, it seems that in this case, the 911 dispatcher wasted precious time and didn't seem to understand the very clear message spoken by the social worker.

A quicker response by police and fire may not have made any difference in this case, but I hope that all the 911 dispatchers in the region listen to this call several times and learn from it, so that next time (and tragically there will be a next time) the 911 call can be handled more effectively.
