I have to agree... Wigan deserved a draw for the way they played. Served them right for the terrible pitch, though... Those rugby line markings were a disgrace.

Just watched the Chelsea Wigan match. Great shot by Deco, wasn't it?

It's good to see the teams from lower down the table putting up such a fight. Fulham against Arsenal; Middlesbrough and Sunderland against Liverpool and even Wigan today have put up spirited performances against the big teams.

Lampard may be a very good player, but no way does he deserve to be the highest paid player in the League. Anyway, Chelsea now have 4 players at the top of the highest paid players list; they're spending quite a bit on wages, huh? I still can't understand what Shevchenko is doing at #3 on that list. ;-)

Rumours flying around that Liverpool might bid for Joe Cole. But I don't think Scolari will let him go unless Robinho is signed. Even if they do sign Robinho, the odds of Chelsea selling him are quite slim, don't you think?

Anyway, now I have two reasons to hope for Robinho to come to Chelsea... ;-) Liverpool really do need a winger.

Don't you think that the 19.5m bid might be a little less than what Real may be expecting? They've just failed to get Ronaldo, so they wouldn't be too eager to sell him at this point of time.
