Seems not uncommon for Galaxies, it acts up on my S3 as well. Usually it requires 500-600 Mb of free space in phone memory to update, even if the update is several kilobytes in size. In my experience, working with app data does little; only clearing up files helps.
My heart goes out to them, too. So many natural calamities these holidays. >_<
And if you're a firefighter or in some other emergency department like your comment suggests, my hat goes off to you and your colleagues and your job. It's impossible to overestimate. Take care, too.
Um, Disqus, if I need to verify my email before commenting, why not just send me a verification mail upon registration? I kinda thought it was a default practice with internet accounts by now. ^^;
Uploading an avatar from local storage is when Opera Mobile's choice of refreshing the opened page every time you switch to another app and back feels most questionable. -_- Maybe Chrome will be there to help again.
Image posting might be for mods to decide on here, too. AFAIK Intense Debate supports it but EQD specifically didn't.
"Show more comments" might contribute to section loading speed (not something noticeable on YouTube, but that may be just my connection's experience for all I know), but it could be tedious in the long run indeed, especially if the new comments keep appearing on the same page. As for sorters, though, I'm not entirely new to them since ID mails' "go to comment" feature has often worked on a whim, commonly giving me an empty "page" with but a list of actual comment pages to click/tap next. Speaking of which, does Disqus have notifications at all? Well, this is one of the things better found out personally, I guess. But I'm curious about other, usually not trasnparent details like character limit (if it's short, I pray "show more comments" isn't so rampant within the same comment chains), session expiry (one of the more annoying ID features, especially with how random it seemed), word filter (if Disqus is so modern, tell me it at least highlights problematic strings... or at the very least lets edit the text instead of making it inaccessible!)... stuff like that.
And on a fair note, Intense Debate had its share of upsides. I don't think I would have spammed thousands of comments there if it had been unbearable. Thanks to the development and support team for what jobs their creation did well and for what help it has been.
And thank goodness. Pretending to know what can definitely improve the show is what the fandom likes to do 24/7 anyway. Making separate discussions for it feels borderline redundant - it's always the same stuff which will be complained about every time the authors' agenda doesn't coincide and labeled "pandering" every time it actually does.
She's been Trixiefied!
You better fly
Cause there's no one here to save you
And you can not deny
She's been Trixiefied!
Just say goodbye
Cause there's no place left to run to,
There's no place left to hide!
That's the main dramatic question here. Would Seth really settle for a fake?
Batman as in, "a dark winged silhouette against the moon"? That's the only reference I'm getting here (not that I'm remotely an expert on Batman references), although in my book, Flutterbat did it better. A neat Nightmare Moon art in general, though.
