Agreed. I feel terrible for people who are in your situation because they really want to work, but they cannot due to either an illness, or something that left them disabled.

I have a friend, or rather a 'friend,' who I've known forever and her family uses the system. They have used the system (both welfare and disability) since she was in elementary school and she's junior this year in college. They have a nice house, a nice car, and proper food, etc., when some people out there who collect disability are struggling day and night, or people who aren't on disability struggle day and night as well, just to make ends meet.

My hat is off to you, sir. I hope and pray that one day you will indeed be able to work. God Bless.

I concur.

It seems as though they are drug addicts and they just want to feel better about themselves. And no, I'm not talking about the trolls-because that goes without saying-but, about those who still respond to said trolls. They cannot get enough of the opposition.

Look, guys, I mean, I get pissed too, I'm still human, but seriously, just ignore them. Attacking them doesn't do anything. It just makes you crave the anger about 'bashing' them, only to have them bash you right back. It is an endless cycle.

This happens a LOT of the Insider forums, and ignoring them, letting them not get anymore fuel for their plant goals, makes life a LOT easier.

I think the 9/12 project all needs a collective hug (or a drink-for those of you who do drink). lol

Oh. Great book. So much symbolism in that book too.

Btw, this is NOT a spolier, but for those of you who have read it, think about it.

I'm curious if that America is really that paperweight that Winston finds. I mean, after reflecting about how that paperweight comes to be (since Winston finds it and its so beautiful, bright, and lively), much like how the first people on America (both Native Americans and colonial settlers) thought America was beautiful, bursting of color, and lively. Then, as the book goes on, what becomes of that paperweight, to me, at least reminds me of America right now.

Awesome! Thanks! :) I plan on reading those books on that site (but wasn't sure if anyone had any other suggestions :D), after summer classes are done in 2 weeks.

And, amen. I'm going to be reading a lot. lol BOM, DoC, Bible, I'm a recent convert so I have a LOT to learn about this faith.

I posted this before the the comments got too large and it reset itself, but I thought I might as well post it again.

I was curious if there is anyone out there in this 9/12 project land that has any ideas for someone who wants to create a Common Sense or a Tea Party at their school. I'm open to any and all suggestions. This could be what books should I read so I know more about what is going to happen, or who should I contact about doing this (other than the dean of students and the College Republicians at my college, etc). I'm also open to how I should approach people too (other than my idea of wearing a colonial outfit around campus and pass out little flyers about the group about how Common Sense is dead and so forth). Oh, and yes, I know I'm weird. Thanks for noticing.

I've only been here for a few days, but you guys seem pretty nice. :D

I'm glad I decided to not lurk any longer. :)
