I'm so looking forward to getting a dress for my birthday. I was going to do it for my 30th, but since we're doing the vow renewal, I just have to re-do my 30. I think my best purchase was my computer. For the longest time, I had to use other people's computers, and considering for the longest time the internet/IM programs were my only way of keeping in touch with my husband, it wasn't a good thing. But computers are expensive, and I wasn't sure I was ready to take the plunge. Well, I blew a whole paycheck on my laptop on a whim one month, and I'm glad I did. I still don't like Vista, but I feel happy that this is my computer, and I can do what I need to with it.

In the future though, I hope I can nab a macbook, my holy grail of computers.
