This is ridiculous...now they want citizens to pay taxes to the world? I knew this "world government" concept was gaining steam, but come off it. It's bad enough what we pay to support the UN being in our country, plus the money for our policing all it's events. I say we say "no" and also kick the UN out of this country as a step in not recognizing a world government.

Pretty soon, they'll fix the gas stations to have special nozzels that don't output gas unless you have a Prius or something. You wait - things like this will be happening "for our own good."

We'd all be better with lead paint and radon than these things! My previous apartment, my landlord replaced the overhead flourescent kitchen fixture with an incandescent one. Oh well, she should just go ahead and replace it back again!

I've done some research since I wrote this comment above and I can't believe what I found out about the pushy mob rule ACORN has had with banks in order to force their hand in their lending practices. You are quite right in saying it's like mob thugs. More so than I would have ever thought.
