Mr. Kinsella, I believe your article should put to rest those who hold to the mistaken belief that there will be no 3rd Temple built and that the Church is now the temple in heaven. You have laid it out specifically and scripturally, and if the Temple were not consecrated, it could not be defiled. Right on! Why do so many miss this? Because they do not hold to a literal interpretation of the Word and they do not study the Word. When I listen to the argument against a rebuilt Temple on the above basis, I always ask, "You mean you believe the antichrist is going to stand in the midst of the Body and declare himself God?" So far, I've had no answer to that question. :D

Au contraire, WD. The first Israelite tribe listed is Judah, placed first not coincidentally, because Christ, the Messiah, is the "Lion of the tribe of Judah. " Jesus, Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah.

Absence of judgment? I hardly think when only 1/3 of the Jews of national Israel survive the great tribulation, that is not judgment?

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Part II

Like Dr. Reagan, I believe Satan has always had a candidate for the Antichrist in each generation....simply because Satan could never know the timing of the Rapture anymore than any generation has been able to know. The Rapture has been the hope of generation after generation. We, on the other hand, are living in the time when prophecy is being fulfilled at fast forward speed. I feel pretty confident in saying that Satan knows the Rapture is the key event to his very last days. He would never want to miss out in any generation of not having a candidate ready. He may want to be God, but he is not God! I can just imagine some of the conversations he and the Lord have had as Satan roams to and fro seeing whom he can devour. I'm sure he has lacked no numbers of candidates from which to choose to be the end times Antichrist, Obama included. I am thankful I will not know the abomination of desolation. I don't know about you, but I get excited every day I awaken when I think this could be the day of the Rapture. My eyes are on Jesus and Jerusalem, where all prophecy begins and ends.

Part 1

I believe the Antichrist is alive today, but I know for certain, that the true Body of Christ will not be on earth when he is revealed. I'm not looking for the Antichrist, even though I believe that the Father has given this generation, the generation that saw the rebirth of Israel, a very good glimpse of the true character of the Antichirst in the person of Obama, an arrogant, blasphemous deceiver. Most of us on this site (actually probably all of us) know Hitler and his character only from history, the antichrist who tried to wipe Israel off the map during his tenure. We now have a grandstand view of another antichrist in these Last Days in the man in the WH, a man who is another enemy of Israel. I'm thankful for that! I remember a time when I could never imagine the world adulating over a world leader and taking the mark of the beast. Now I see clearly how that will come to pass. Obama worship in this country and around the world is a type of worship the world will have for the Antichrist.

I always thank the Lord for the authors here and the authors themselves, never knowing whether they read the comments, but if they do, I assure you, Mr. Barger, I will certainly cover you in prayer. I am personally acquainted with the war zone you will be in at this convention. As a former member of an SBC church, when I confronted my pastor and deacons about the direction the church was heading, under the leadership of the pastor, into contemplative spirituality/emergent church, I became the pariah, not the leadership. For years I have warned about this widespread and growing cancer. Most Christians don't even understand the terms and certainly would not recognize if they were part of this cancer. Again, I urge everyone to visit http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/ to understand this New Age heresy being embraced by church "leadership," names that will surprise you. Sign up for their newsletter, and by all means use their search engine to read articles about the Church of the Nazaren's slide into the New Age philosophies of contemplative spirituality/emergent church. Knowledge is power, my bros and sisters. Share the Word, share the word, and inform others.

CVAL, the "church," as you call it, will never be deceived into taking the mark of the beast. It says no such thing in Revelation. Give me chapter and verse, please. I will, like all other true Believers in Christ, not even be given the opportunity, so to speak! We are going up in the Rapture to meet our Jesus face to face. Do you know Jesus? Most of us here do. We will recognize Him because He is the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Great I AM, the Son of God, the Son of Man, The Alpha and the Omega, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, MESSIAH, the Name above all Names, Mighty God, the Everlasting God, The Creator....just some of His titles. We will see Him in His glory!!! Don't you be deceived and let the train leave the station without you. He knows your name, even if you don't know Him. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. He will because He is true to His Word. Ask and you shall receive.

Fletcher's point I understand, Ranger.

Michael, would appreciate you just stop the spin and in layman's terms tell the rest of us what you are saying. Are you, in fact, disagreeing with Mr. Fletcher? Seems to me you are and that you have taken offense and are calling him a false witness? Using an analogy of a car dropping off a cliff is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. Would appreciate your backing up your comments with something more concrete, like Scripture and perhaps verifiable facts.

I honestly had no reaction to Mr. Fletcher's column in any way comparable to your post. We are commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. If that is blasphemous, all I can say is that it is blasphemous to blaspheme God and His commandment, and I think Daystrom made that point well.

Shalom. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

I agree, Michael. Even a tent, not stone, would be fulfillment. Actually, 30 years ago, I still remember my pastor saying much the same thing.

On thing we can all rest in, God knows.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

First, thank you, Mr. James, for an excellent article.

Secondly, great response to Evelin, Mark.

Thirdly, to Evelin. In the U.S. under our Constitution, there is no right to government health care. If our northern neighbors in Canada were well pleased with their socialist government-subsidized health care, they would not be flocking over the border to avail themselves of our excellent medical care. We don't have people in this country dying before they can get the necessary, life-sustaining treatment they cannot get in their country. We have illegal immigrants in this country who cross the Mexican border, breaking our laws, to get not only medical care but have their children delivered in our emergency rooms across the nation....free, a service that most of us Americans would not get. Like Mark, I'd sure love for ya to give me the Scriptures that say government is the answer and that socialized medicine is a right in the sight of God.

I echo the comments here....no surprise. Let me give you another site whose ministry is to expose contemplative spirituality/church growth movement. It is:
http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/ Search on Rick Warren! Years ago, I learned of the valuable information on this site from a Paul Proctor article...shared his columns with my FORMER pastor who used The Message as "scriptural" reference in sermons almost to exclusion. This site will help you from being deceived!

Warren and his wife are disciples of Robert Schuller, even though Warren denies it. But then, Warren is a LIAR. Joseph Farrah at World Net Daily exposed Rick as a liar when Warren visited Syria. If you are unfamiliar, search the WND archives for Rick Warren. A real eye opener. Rick Warren is a false prophet, plain and simple. He is compromised to the core. I feel confident that when the chaff is sifted from the wheat, Rick will be saying, "but didn't I...????? "Away from me, I never knew you." What could we possibly expect from Rick Warren when during the primary he called both Obama and McCain "christians"?
