From an end-user perspective, I freaked out at the ribbon.
I'm keyboard oriented and don't like bothering with the mouse much when I'm doing a document.

There are ... call them accelerator keys ... to get to the actual buttons and menus but man-o-man, trying to memorize all of them is just about impossible.

But from the inside out, it pretty much rocks because you can add features relatively easily. Even have your own company tab on the ribbon with all the stuff the company wants to do inside of that tab.

Deployment of the add-ins is a bit of a buga-boo. Easier than Office 2007 or 2003 add-ins if you're going with .Net 4 platform.

If you look under the covers and think a bit, it's WAY bigger than the power grab they call "health care".
That puppy lives in our borders.
This one destroys our borders.
I know that doesn't make sense to most. Takes a lot of reading to understand the full potential of the proposed actions.

I think I'd be asking law enforcement agencies in counties south of Pierce for a heightened awareness in their jurisdictions. Even as far south as Portland.

Last night not long after sunset a call came through for a Corvette traveling at excessive speed south on (I think) 507.

Occupied by 2. 1 white male driver, 1 black passenger. But they dispatched it as "information only" seeing as how it was right when the procession was starting.

People, please listen to this person.
As a victim of assault, I went to a cop shop and asked "What is a protection order going to do for me?"

Because I didn't figure a piece of paper could to much against a crazy male and two pit bulls that arrived at my back door.

The Sargent said "Don't expect us to be there to defend you".

So, I carry. I'm too old to run and my hips don't work very well any more.
My only defense is my situational awareness.

Thanks rwgav8. I know it's restricted but don't know how to interpret the funny looking airplane maps. I even think the one I was looking at is very old. Friend Dan flew through there with simple radio communication about 45 minutes ago.

Patti, re: the white male. Have any more info?
I got that initially they thought it was a car jacking at the car wash.
If that is indeed the case, then there may be a fifth victim somewhere.
If not, we have two bad guys out there.

They were going to PIT a car belonging to the suspect but it stopped. His wife was driving.
