What a great thing to do. Those gardens are beautiful and have many weddings in the summer. We are so lucky here in Portland to have such a fantastic park system.

Lets not forget after the Cattle Company vacated this bldg it was a very short lived strip club for a few short days. Not sure what happened with that venture just glad its gone we have enough seedy business on Mc Loughlin now. It looked to have had some major renovation for the club that never stayed open. That would be my guess for an insurance claim..

Buses are owned by First Student and contracted out by the districts in most areas so its not a bad idea.

Was downtown twice today once for the parade and the street was packed and tonight for the tree. The stores were all busy and people are buying. I saw nothing out of the normal either trip. Portlanders go down and reclaim our beautiful downtown area we are so lucky to have it. Let the holiday season begin.

Nordstroms has always had this policy. If you look in the store late Thanksgiving Night there are nothing but elves getting the stores all ready !!

The award has nothing to do with the water bureau or any new parks. It is based on the programs that are offered and the way our parks are designed to be useful to everyone.The pools, gyms, hike trails, classes, community centers gardens ect . Portland has the largest park in the country (Forest Park) If you have not noticed the water supply for you is stored at either Mt Tabor or Washington park so the water bureau and the park system both work together when it comes to water. Its a beautiful day go out and enjoy one of the parks near you.
