I agree! The first thing we need to do is repeal the 16th ammenment. This would take away their spending money (our pay). Give responsibility back to the states on issues such as education. And yes, by all means, disolve the unions. All they want is less to do, more time to do it in and more money for not geeting is done! Maybe it's time for them to learn how to do something productive and go out and get a real job, like the rest of us.
Hey! Is it just me? Am I the only one that thinks I heard Obama say during his press conference last week "We (America), the country that invented the car, should be willing to invest to save the auto industry"? We didn't invent the car. The Italians had cars fourty years before Henry Ford invented the assembly line method of building cars. And to be honest, Henry was the first detriment to the American labor force. He created many jobs, but they were so boring that he could not get inteligent workers to stay, so what did he do? He doubled their wages! This was the beginning of the end for American manufacturing. He was the first to pay grosely under-qualified workers way too much money. That is exactly what is wrong with the auto unions today and the reason we cannot compete. If you cannot build a good product and sell it for a competative price, move over and get out of the way. Competition is what makes the world great for those of us who have had to learn to master skills and compete in the working world.
