I read Anne Lamott's 'Traveling Mercies' and I loathed it. ABHORRED. It. She is the most whiny. It was just pages and pages and pages of her whining, peppered with really uncomfortable shit about race. Like, 'I am suuuch a special snowflake for being friends and attending church with POC' type shit. Awful.

Every single thing written by Chuck Palahniuk - but especially, ESPECIALLY, Invisible Monsters. That book made me nauseous in a bad way.

And Jane Eyre. I know I'm supposed to love that book but I just cain't. I CAIN'T.
