I have a grandma story that is objectively horrifying but relevant to current Toast interests. Gran once found a mother possum and babies living in her laundry room/mudroom/bathroom area (it's an old house). She somehow knocked out the mother with a frying pan, dug a hole in the garden, moved the whole family into it, and BURIED THEM ALIVE. She told us about it later as if it was no big deal. Gran was on the forefront of the anti-possum movement I guess.
