Ugh, the marketing was terrible. I felt like it was being forced on me, but I had no idea what it was supposed to be about as I have not read the books. Each and every ad was just plain annoying to me, even the trailer I saw in the theater before another movie sucked. Glad the public spoke with it's money on this one.

Might have been good to tell a bit more about who Mel Waters is/was, is he still around? The hole is probably real, and probably does have something to do with the government. However, I would guess that it is something more mundane like a disposal site rather than UFO projects.

I LOVE Multnomah County Library! My kids and I visit each week, and we usually have around 15 books checked out. We especially like the online holds, they will bring books from other branches to our neighborhood library or we can be first in line for a new release. Good work Multnomah County Library!

I hate doing this, but because I know the Willamette Valley well these type of errors drive me nuts: I-5 does not run between Albany and Corvallis, 34 and 20 do. I-5 runs from Medford at the bottom of the state up through Roseburg, Eugene, Albany, Salem, Portland, etc.

While I disagreed with most everything Bush did, I really liked Laura Bush; many people are able to appreciate others despite political differences. Also, this is a show for kids, unless their parents are preaching to them about politics all the time most of them will just think it's cool the first lady was on it.

How nice, this should be a big treat for fans of the show who are military kids! I feel like with the way our country likes to pretend we aren't involved in two wars, the children of service members and their sacrifices are often forgotten.

They will also go to the dentist and the optometrist, not to mention wear make up and use computers. It seems that physicians are the only modern convenience they are required to give up

Looks great, but it is ridiculously expensive. $30 a person, and toddlers (under 42 inches) is still $25 and they can't even use most of the slides. It would cost my family of five $145. A ticket to Wild Waves is $36, or $30 online, and that includes the amusement park. We might go once, but after that we'll stick with the one in Clackamas where it is about $52 for the family.

Highly recommend the documentary 'How to Die in Oregon', it's on HBO, you can get in on OnDemand right now. It really shows how important this option is for those who are suffering from a terminal illness. Although I think Kevorkian's methods were somewhat barbaric, with him just dumping the bodies, he really did a lot to push this issue into public awareness.

I used a midwife who had a student with her for the birth of my second child and managed to do it naturally, which was quite a different and much better experience than I had with my first when I did the whole pitocin, epidural, full episiotomy and the baby almost dying on the way out thing. I still went to the hospital, but the atmosphere was really relaxed, we chatted through my contractions while I stretched on a yoga ball until the very end. The midwife and student were in the room with us the entire time, most doctors come in if something goes wrong or just to basically catch the baby. Doulas provide that type of support, plus lots of after care at home. It can be really beneficial, even financially if helps avoid all the costly extra procedures, an epidural is around a grand alone, which insurance does cover. It seems like a good idea to pay $500-$800 to off set more expensive procedures and have healthier babies.
