Why is it dumb to ride in the rain? I ride every where all the time except on ice, if I did not ride in the rain I wpould be walking a lot as it rains 10 months of the year. Riding in the rain is not dangerous with proper training.
I am permanently disabled. Meaning I am going to suffer pain for the rest of my life. Sometimes it is beyong belief. But I still manage to enjoy life. I dance and cut wood, as much as I can becuase I don't want to stop living
I take exception to the officer stating that 80% of riders that die killed themselves. While it is true that 75% of bike wrecks are rider error, most fatalities involve hitting a motor vehicle. Making a false statement like that is simply harmful. Ride safe. And if you ride fast be prepared to die.
The lack of compassion in these posts is so ugly. Yes the Government is corrupt, yes there are bad people, but do ya think all of those suffering through this were bad people? Get a grip people.

While it is BS, (Who could he hurt other than hisself) The officer took the time to warn the guy not to ride. Good cop if u ask me. I'd say the cop was just trying to "keep the peace" which is what good cops do.
