Loved the subject and it was nice to see how Shelli broached the subject of death in her book. On the Bright Side sounds like a fresh take on it! :D

Thank you for the heads up :) just wish I could move at a faster pace with my work so that I could take full advantage of all these opportunities *sigh* But! Will peek in on all of them :)

Hi Lynda!

I know how you feel, this year has such a good lineup of releases! I'm not sure if I'll be able to squeeze them all in either. My TR list is a very scary thing right now!

God yes, the cover is beautiful! I've got the sequel on my kindle ready and waiting and if it goes the way I hope, then I'm getting ready to buy the books in paperback *_*

I can sympathize with that, my pile is... a little overwhelming at the moment (and somehow you just end up adding more and more!).

Also, new baby, :D congratulations! I hope you get to have quality time with little one and your books! (Bitterblue, hadn't heard of if but the title has me intrigued!)

Being a plotter doesn't mean I stick rigidly to my outline.

Yes, this was one of the issues I had with outlining, I always felt like I was committing and so couldn't change anything - which was silly, but it got stuck that way. I like to think I'm improving on that point :)

The purpose of an outline is to be your map. Some writers like to set out into the writing wild and find their way as they go. Some work well with only a compass to point them in the right direction.

I think that's a great way of putting it! :D will be keeping that specifically in mind when pushing forward - actually, I might just write it on a post it and stick it everywhere so I don't forget lol

<3 great post! :D

Hi Lynda - I've heard really good things about Daughter of Smoke and Bone, it's on my ever growing list of TBR books, but a friend has been tempting me with little snippets of the story. Sounds like a good book to be reading during Storytelling Week!

Hi El, thanks for stopping by my blog!

American Gods, that's on my pile of books to read - I loved Neverwhere by him so really I hope to get to it soon - but Lori's also recommended The Graveyard Book by Gaiman too, I might try that one first as I already own a copy :)

I hope you enjoy your read!

Ah, see, I don't think it's wildly publicized - I know about it because at the centre we keep a tight track on special days that sometimes not even the school is aware of so, nothing at all to be embarrassed about!

I just popped over to goodreads to look at the book you're reading with your son, it sounds so lovely, I'll have to take a look myself, maybe one I can read along with my sister (younger than me by 12yrs!). I hope you both enjoy the rest of your story and thank you for stopping by here too : )

Hmm, okay - but there's definitely a World Book Day right? Should check out when that is.

Omg, they will *_* they might try to strangle the puppets... XD I might rope Helena into making finger puppets with me over the weekend or something lol XD then we can do a story board and take pictures!

But guess we'll see : )
